Overview

The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Archadeck Outdoor Living and Outdoor Lighting Perspectives franchise owners at all stages of their business providing training and ongoing guidance regarding the development, implementation and support of their local marketing plans.

 

This is a highly consultative position that requires marketing experience and someone that has genuine passion in helping others succeed. This position is a key member of the marketing team who will work closely with the Brand Marketing Manager, digital marketing team, and creative team to support both franchisee and corporate initiatives. This includes the management of and development of training materials, sales and marketing assets and tools for the franchise systems and the brand team.

 

This highly adaptable and organized individual will need to possess excellent presentation and speaking skills and be able to command the attention of a room and deliver a message with confidence. 2-4 years of marketing industry experience preferred. Print or direct mail marketing experience a plus

Essential Responsibilities

  • Evaluate local marketing efforts, consult and collaborate with the franchisees and members of the marketing team to provide the best feedback and recommendations to help each location grow
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to ensure the recommended marketing and advertising strategies and tactics are implemented across the franchise system
  • Deliver in-person new franchisee training and ongoing training
  • Work closely with the graphic design team to develop creative assets for both brands
  • Manage technology solutions that assist franchisees with the implementation of local marketing and advertising efforts, including the marketing store and brand portal
  • Execute and track marketing initiatives and creative performance to accomplish each brand’s objectives

Basic Requirements

  • 2-4 years’ experience in the Marketing field
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work within a project management software and manage assigned tasks
  • Effective time management skills and the ability juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently as well as within a team environment
  • Self-starter
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Energetic and enthusiastic attitude
  • Multi-tasking capabilities
  • Adept at learning new technology and marketing platforms

Preferred Skills

  • Direct mail & print (offset and digital) experience
  • Digital marketing experience (i.e. Google Adwords, PPC, Social Media)
  • Experience with Teamwork project management system
  • B2C marketing experience a plus
